Points of Interest (POI) are an essentiell item of navigation systems.

With POIs you can find important destinations as cash points, restaurants and historic sights easily.

The GPS providers preinstall a standard set of POIs on their devices. Furthermore, there are numeros vendors of additional POIs.

An alternative are websites, which provide POIs for free; for example mountain passes in the Alps or campsites and speed cameras in Sweden.
