Qualcomm: Neue GPS Chipsätze
Qualcomm Incorporated stellt auf dem Mobile World Congress drei neue GPS-Chipsätze vor.
Die Chipsätze sind speziell für die nächste Generation an mobilen Endgeräten entwickelt worden, die Funktionen wie Internetsurfen, Telefon, Navigation und TV in einem Gerät vereinen.

“The QST1000™, QST1100™ and QST1105™ are a single platform of solutions with a range of highly integrated features and capabilities, including wireless connectivity; high-accuracy, multi-mode GPS positioning; a high-performance applications processor; support for broadcast mobile TV; and rich multimedia.”

Der QST1100 beinhaltet eine zusätzliche, drahtlose WAN-Komponente, beim QST1105 kommt noch 2D/3D-Grafikunterstützung hinzu.
