Garmin BaseCamp, kostenlose Outdoor-GPS PlanungssoftwareGarmin hat ein umfangreiches Update für die GPS-Planungssoftware BaseCamp veröffentlicht. Die neue Version 4.0.1 bringt neben zahlreichen kleinen Verbesserungen auch neue Funktionen wie Garmin Adventures, Garmin Basestation und Unterstützung für den neuen ANT+ Temperatursensor Garmin tempe.

Ein Update auf die aktuelle Version läßt sich auch in BaseCamp über die Funktion “Hilfe > Nach Software-Updates suchen …” starten.
